2. General comments:
I enjoy a variety of cultural events, as well as live music
venues, and the off-beat and foreign movies shown at several
theaters in town. I have visited most of the Indian Mounds
in Middle Tennessee, as well as doing a bit of hiking. This
past summer I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Peru.
3. How long have you been on a consciousness journey?
My unconscious journey started when I was young, as my mother
introduced me to Catherine Ponder's works on The Prospering
Power of the Mind. In college, I started to sporadically incorporate
some of her ideas and "I Am" affirmations in my life. My conscious
journey started in 1999, after a few years in a Twelve Step
Program. At that time I underwent deep emotional clearing,
as well as started to read about Ascension, St. Germaine,
"I Am" Teachings, and also attended Wesak in California. I
greeted the year 2000 with a weekend trip to Sedona, AZ.
4. What caused your primary awakening?
Realizing there was more to healing my addictive behavior
(beyond the 12-Step Program) and seeking resolution. I am
currently a practitioner and teacher of a vibrational healing
known as Transference Healing. Transference means to "move
from one place to another" and in working on all the energetic
levels of the body, it clears emotional blocks and wounds,
opens the heart, and brings forth gridding to activate and
further develop one's lightbody. For me personally, my entire
life structure has shifted these past three years and activated
my desire to serve. The name of my business is Atman Center.
Atman is Sanskrit for "the Supreme and Universal Spirit" and
is representative of the activation of one's own "I Am" Presence.
5. Are there many people in your area, city, country who
share and support a similar interest?
I've been in Nashville five years now and I recognize it has
been the place for me to obtain the training I have been exposed
to. It was here that Transference Healing came to the U.S.
from Australia. It is also here that training was provided
for Heart Forgiveness and Core Health. We do have an active
Noetic Science group which features monthly presenters of
various spiritual and holistic healing processes.
We have a Bicentennial Mall here (not a shopping mall) built
beside the Capitol Building downtown, and it closely resembles
the Temple of Meru, which is representative of the body's
seven chakra system. The construction is such that the 7th
chakra, the crown, is actually an amplification point - if
you stand at a certain spot, one's voice is amplified and
reverberates outward. It may possibly be an activation point
of sorts, and representative of Nashville being one of the
"Cities of Light". (William Henry has done extensive research
on this.)
Also, of particular note in Nashville is a full-scale replica
of Athena, fully gilded in gold at our very own Parthenon
(a replica from Greece). In general, there are many healers
and spiritual seekers. Interesting, as Nashville also houses
more churches per square mile than any other city in the US.
Traditional religions and politics are squarely embedded within
the population, along with the belief of "Satan".
6. Have you had any events or experiences that were particularly
meaningful or challenging for you?
There are several of recent times. In early 2005, I terminated
a live-in relationship and within several weeks my mother
died. Later I recognized this triggered a behavior pattern
which attempted to cover up some deep self-love and self-worth
issues that had remained unresolved. At the end of last year
(2005), I created a Divine Plan for myself and have been moving
toward that ideal since. Earlier this year, I left my outside
sales job to focus on my Transference Healing and providing
Life Coaching to others. I stepped out and created several
classes to teach, yet have found response to be lacking. I
believe I am supported in my work -- the challenge at the
moment is the third-dimensional manifestation and proof. I
sense part of what is going on is the need for me to "fine-tune"
what I offer to people, and to really make my offering "my
own creation".
7. Are there any books that you would particularly encourage
others to read?
Wow - there are so many. I've noticed information in several
books I had been introduced to several years ago is weaved
into a lot of websites - these are What is Lightbody? by Tashira
Tachi-ran and all the various books on Ascension by Dr. Joshua
David Stone. Other books that provided me with some keen insights
are those by Virginia Essene, Gregg Braden, Catherine Ponder,
the Keys of Enoch (JJ Hurtak) and Beyond Doorways by Alexis
Cartwright.
8. What are your favorite parts of the online experience
at Children of Light - and how has the site helped you specifically?
The Monthly Energy Reports - these have provided me with additional
insight on the current energies, as well as the transformation
occurring in humanity and myself!
9. Are there things that you feel you need that might
be met or enhanced by other Children of Light members? Awareness
of any local gatherings.
